The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated Engr. Olasunkanmi Joseph Tegbe on his appointment and swearing-in as the new Minister of Power by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Alli, who is the lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Tegbe possesses the competence, experience and leadership qualities required to reposition the nation’s power sector.
The senator said that Tegbe’s emergence as minister was another clear demonstration of President Tinubu’s commitment to appointing capable and result-oriented individuals into strategic positions for national development.
He expressed confidence that the new minister would bring innovation, professionalism and purposeful leadership to the Ministry of Power, toward improving electricity generation, transmission and distribution across the country.
Alli stated that Tegbe’s wealth of experience in engineering, administration and public service would greatly assist the Federal Government in addressing challenges confronting the power sector and boosting economic growth.
He prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for the new minister in the discharge of his responsibilities, while urging him to remain focused and committed to delivering sustainable reforms that would positively impact Nigerians.
